Long Pose studio exercise 2

For this long pose, I used a pencil to sketch a man. to do this I simply used construction such as measuring techniques, line of action and basic shapes to create the foundations of the pose before shaping it to create the final drawing. I drew the line of action and then is a stickman drawing of the pose to capture the pose. I then proceeded to measure the body using heads and found the midpoint. I also sued a bit of negative space to get the position as well. I then shaded certain areas to capture the shadows on the body to create a  3D form to the pose.

For the final outcome of the long pose, there was a few issues. the arms were too long and the shoulders were too wide. I should of measure the shoulder length by two head wide and I think the forearms are a bit too long. other than that the final outcome of the drawing was quite good. the shaping and positioning of the character went quite well. The shading created a nice 3D form for the person and show details well. the proportion of the legs body length and head were quite good as well. I was a little off and it’s a good improvement and with a little extra work, I could make it very well done drawing.
