here I took a reference image of a pose from the Quickpose website and did a long pose drawing of the reference provided. the goal was to accurately get proportions down and start to be able to more freely e able to correctly get the proportions people down when drawing characters and so forth. I spent roughly 40 minutes using various measuring technique and basic shapes to try and accurately get the form down. I used pencil and did shading to pronounce the form better. I made sure to measure it out and work up slowly to get the pose as accurately as possible so I don’t mess up proportions.
I think the practice went well and I manage to get most of the form and pose accurately down. the arms are a bit long and I should have used negative space to get the correct length of the arms and I should have brought the shoulder more in, all in all, I think this has been an improvement from my previous work. the overall proportion looks really good and there is no major discrepancies the ruin it or make it completely off. I think this is an improvement and I could fix the issues and just need to be more careful and rush less.
