This is a gif of a sack jumping. I did the Jumping sack In animate. the jumping sack was meant to display some anticipation as well as some squash and stretch of the jump. The sack is a good representation doing a jump.
for my first try of doing a jumping sack, I for some reason did a falling sack. I think that the falling of the sack was pretty good but could od with some improvements when it actually came ott eh squash and land of the sack. Also, I did not add enough frames for the sack so I had to decrease the frame rate so that it didn’t go so fast. I should have added in a lot more frames to improve the frame rate and clarity of the animation. I also could have drawn the sack better. This animation only uses squash and stretch as well as a secondary action. I also used a ball in the background as a reference on squash and stretch and positioning.
Then I proceeded to do a second Jumping sack that actually jumped. This sack I think that was an improvement from the last. I quite like this one as it actually jumped and the jumping animation was pretty smoothed and the squash and stretch here worked out quite well. I also liked the falling of the sack as well. The falling was relatively smooth even though I could have added some more stretch to it, it was quite dynamic. also the landing of the sack. The landing was a nice little touch and the impact is shown but the sack getting up is a little rough around the edges and could possibly use more frames and frames could be edited a bit. Overall though this jump is definitely an improvement. This sack uses squash and stretch, solid drawing, secondary action, follow through and was drawn straight ahead. The animation uses a bit of anticipation at the beginning but lacks in frames, so it goes a bit quick.
