This is the second lot of 360° drawing that I did. This is the same 360 model but I decide to redraw it to improve on the original 360 I did. for this set I decide to clump all 5 drawings together on the same page and set them all on the same guidelines, which instantly improved the proportions and comparisons to each other. I used the same material as last time, which was: a blue colouring pencil, charcoal (light, medium and hard) and a 2B pencil. the redraws that I did were significantly better then the originals I did in my opinion and were much more proportionate and detailed as well.
The first drawing was done in pencil. It was pretty simplistic in detail but had as a lot of construction and design, which really help quickly design and move onto detail for the later drawings. To me, the proportions are pretty accurate, but it could still be improved upon with more accurate shaping of the torso and could use shadow mapping.
The second drawing I used a blue colouring pencil. the form and proportions here are much more accurate and the design is relatively detailed and shaped well. The upper torso could do with some improvements though and is a slighting lower than the rest, but is still extremely similarly proportioned to the rest.
The third drawing I used both pencil and blue colouring pencils. The drawing here is much better. The shape is a lot more accurate and the blend between the blue and pencil create a clear and precise difference between the line art and shadow giving it stronger form. If there was anything that I would add or change would be just a bit more shading. I think that all together I work out very well.
The fourth drawing I did in using only charcoal. I started off using hard charcoal to do the line art and then used medium to shape the line art and soft to create the shading and darker details. I think that this 10 min drawing piece was quite well done. the shading and line art is very clear and the drawing has a precise form. I think that this one personally has a better design overall as it displays clearly the most characteristics in her pose.
The fifth drawing was done in pencil with a bit of medium charcoal for the shading. This drawing was still quite good, but the worst one out of them all. The female body was drawn a bit too long. I think this came down to drawing the gluteus a bit too big when trying to get the hip bone form, which ended up shortening the legs a little. the form is pretty well the shading is fitting. I do think that I could of adding more necessary shading to show that the top half of the torso is slightly twisted.
